British Columbia allows Recreational Cannabis Delivery
Legal cannabis delivery in British Columbia
Licensed cannabis stores in British Columbia will be permitted to deliver recreational cannabis products starting July 15th. Adults across the province (19+) will be able to receive delivery from their retailer of choice.
This announcement comes from Mike Farnworth, the provincial public safety minister. The intention with this new regulation change is to give legal retailers the tools and advantages they need to succeed.

In addition to the announcement that British Columbia-based legal cannabis retailers can deliver, the provincial government is also removing the security verification requirements for recreational cannabis industry workers. The public safety ministry has completed screening on more than 7000 potential workers and hasn’t identified any risks or connections to organized crime. This will allow more legacy market participants to enter the industry and work in/with licensed cannabis retail shops.
